How many companies can say that they've been around prior to the invention of the lightbulb, the telephone, the automobile, and electricity? Not many but Jacob Bromwell is one of them. They are the oldest known stainless steel and tin manufacturer in the USA and the 34th oldest continuously owned and operated company in America. That's a lot of pedigree.
Jacob Bromwell founded his company in 1819 and incorporated it in 1883 as The Bromwell Brush and Wire Goods Company manufacturing and selling shoe and scrub brushes, leather and wood horse shiners, corn poppers, sifters, and an assortment of other products. If you think of it in terms of American history the California Gold Rush hadn't started and we hadn't yet had a Civil War. However, his products have been used by pioneers and households alike throughout all these years. In fact the company estimates that 1 in every 4 American household still owns a Jacob Bromwell product.
